Albert R. Teichner published a handful of well-regarded science-fiction stories in the early 1960s, beginning with ‘Man Made’ in Amazing in 1960 and including ‘The Junkmakers’ and ‘Sweet Their Blood and Sticky’. A World War II veteran with an MA from Columbia, he remains a shadowy figure biographically, but his small body of magazine work has kept its readers.
