Bryce Walton (1918–1988) was a Missouri-born, Navy-veteran freelancer who wrote hundreds, by some counts more than a thousand, short stories across science fiction, mystery, Westerns and men's adventure from the late 1940s on. He wrote for the TV serial Captain Video and for Alfred Hitchcock Presents, and remains a representative figure of the workhorse professional who kept the pulps and early television supplied.
