Nelson S. Bond (1908–2006) was a versatile and much-liked writer of the pulp era, working in science fiction, fantasy and humour, and later in radio and theatre. Stories such as those of the post-apocalyptic priestess Meg and the fast-talking Lancelot Biggs showed his gift for character and comedy. He was later recognised as an Author Emeritus by the SF field.
