Will Mohler published a dozen science-fiction stories from 1958 to 1963, mostly as ‘Will Worthington’, ‘Plenitude’ (F&SF, 1959), reprinted by Judith Merril, is the best-known. An F&SF blurb placed him living a ‘Thoreau-like existence’ on a wild island off Maine, another later in Washington, DC; his identity remains something of a mystery. A distinctive, elusive voice of the late-1950s magazines.
