Stanley Mullen (1911–1974) was a Colorado Springs artist and museum curator who wrote over thirty science-fiction and fantasy stories from 1947, much of it colourful space opera in Planet Stories. He founded the small press Gorgon Press and published eleven issues of his fanzine The Gorgon, a genuine polymath of the mid-century fan-and-pro world.
