Monette Cummings (1914–1999) wrote pulp fiction across genres, beginning her SF with ‘The Brides of Ool’ in Planet Stories (1955) and gathering her fantasy in Exile and Other Tales of Fantasy. She later found greater success in Regency romance, winning a RITA Award for The Beauty’s Daughter. A versatile professional of the popular-fiction markets.
