Lyn Venable

Lyn Venable (1927–2025), born Marilyn Venable, wrote a small body of science-fiction short stories in the 1950s, one of which, ‘Time Enough at Last’ (If, 1953), became one of the most beloved and devastating episodes of The Twilight Zone: the tale of a bookish man who finally has all the time in the world to read, until his glasses break. A single story that entered the culture permanently.
