‘Dean Evans’ was a byline (associated with George F. Kull) under which memorable science-fiction stories appeared in the early-1950s magazines, most famously ‘The Moons of Mars’ (Galaxy, 1952), a gentle tale of a Martian and a boy, and ‘The Very Black’. A small but fondly remembered body of Galaxy-era short fiction.
