Charles E. Fritch (1927–2012) wrote and edited across science fiction, fantasy, horror and mystery for decades. A member of the celebrated Southern California circle around Charles Beaumont, Richard Matheson and George Clayton Johnson, he published the little magazine Gamma, edited Mike Shayne Mystery Magazine, and had ‘Misfortune Cookie’ adapted for The Twilight Zone.
