Alan J. Ramm published science-fiction adventures in the 1950s magazines, ‘Death Walks on Mars’, ‘Trouble Near the Sun’, ‘Test Problem’, in the colourful interplanetary-adventure mode. Little is recorded of his life beyond the bibliography; his stories are a characteristic corner of the era’s pulp SF.
