Wallace West

Wallace West (1900–1980) was a lawyer and public-relations man who wrote science fiction and weird fiction from the 1920s, ‘Loup-Garou’ appeared in Weird Tales in 1927, and whose ‘Bird of Time’ sequence, a planetary romance of Mars, ran in the magazines from 1936 to 1953 before its 1959 book collection. A durable, humane voice across the pulp-to-digest transition.
