Robert Shea

Robert Shea (1933–1994) co-wrote, with Robert Anton Wilson, The Illuminatus! Trilogy (1975), a sprawling, satirical, mind-bending countercultural epic of conspiracies, secret societies and reality-warping that became a cult classic and gave modern conspiracy fiction much of its vocabulary. He also wrote well-regarded historical novels. A distinctive voice of 1970s speculative fiction.
