Robert Arthur

Robert Arthur (1909–1969) was a busy and inventive writer of pulp science fiction, fantasy and mystery, a two-time Edgar winner for his radio work on The Mysterious Traveler. He created the beloved juvenile detective series ‘The Three Investigators’ and ghost-edited many of the Alfred Hitchcock Presents anthologies. His clever, twist-driven fantasy stories, like ‘Mr. Milton’s Gift’, are small gems of the form.
