Leo P. Kelley (1928–2002) wrote a run of readable science-fiction novels and stories in the 1960s and 70s, Odyssey to Earthdeath, The Coins of Murph and others, and edited SF anthologies for classroom use, helping bring the genre to younger readers. He later turned successfully to Western fiction. A dependable mid-list professional of the paperback era.
