Henry de Graffigny (1863–1942) was a French engineer and prolific popular-science author who collaborated with Georges Le Faure on Les Aventures extraordinaires d’un savant russe, the grand interplanetary voyage that helped establish the Vernean scientific romance in France. His technical enthusiasm and gift for popularisation run through the work. A characteristic figure of early French SF.
