Green Peyton

Green Peyton (1907–1968), Green Peyton Wertenbaker, was a teenage prodigy of early science fiction, publishing ‘The Man from the Atom’ and ‘The Coming of the Ice’ in the Gernsback magazines while still very young, among the first to give the new ‘scientifiction’ real emotional and philosophical reach. He later left the genre for a career as a journalist and regional author of the American Southwest.
