Charles Dye (1925–1960) published science fiction in the early 1950s, including the novel Prisoner in the Skull. He was briefly married to the writer Katherine MacLean, who published some of her own strong work, ‘Syndrome Johnny’, ‘The Man Who Staked the Stars’, under his byline during their marriage. A short career at the heart of the Galaxy era.
