George H. Smith (1922–1996) was an enormously prolific paperback author who wrote science fiction and fantasy, including the Celtic parallel-world ‘Annwn’ novels such as Druids’ World and Witch Queen of Lochlann, alongside a great deal of other commercial fiction under a long list of pseudonyms. A characteristic workhorse of the 1960s–70s paperback boom.
