Richard M. Elam

Richard M. Elam, Jr. (1920–2013) was among the very few authors specialising in juvenile science fiction in the 1950s and early 60s, publishing collections like Teen-Age Science Fiction Stories and much short work in Boys’ Life. His clean, wonder-filled tales introduced a generation of young readers to space and science. A Richmond, Virginia native and WWII veteran.
