Otis Adelbert Kline

Otis Adelbert Kline (1891–1946) was a prolific pulp author and, later, an influential literary agent (his clients included Robert E. Howard). His interplanetary romances, the Venus and Mars series such as The Planet of Peril, were so close in spirit to Edgar Rice Burroughs’s that legend built up a supposed rivalry between the two. A skilled entertainer of the sword-and-planet school.
