Carl Jacobi (1908–1997) was a Minnesota author whose carefully crafted weird and science-fiction stories appeared in Weird Tales, Planet Stories and many other pulps from the 1930s on. Collections such as Revelations in Black (from Arkham House) preserve his moody, atmospheric supernatural fiction; he was among the durable second-generation contributors to the Lovecraft-era weird tradition.
