Leslie F. Stone

Leslie F. Stone (1905–1991) was among the earliest women to write for the science-fiction pulps, publishing from the late 1920s in Amazing, Wonder Stories and others. Stories like ‘The Conquest of Gola’ and ‘Out of the Void’ notably featured competent women and matriarchal societies, making her a pioneering and now much-appreciated early voice.
