Leroy Yerxa

Leroy Yerxa (1915–1946) poured out science fiction and fantasy for Amazing Stories and Fantastic Adventures in the 1940s, under his own name and pseudonyms like ‘Elroy Arno’. His comic ‘Freddie Funk’ series was completed after his early death by his wife, Frances Yerxa. A characteristic, and characteristically fast, hand of the wartime Ziff-Davis pulps.
