Gardner F. Fox (1911–1986) was one of the most prolific writers in American popular fiction, the author of some 4,000 comics stories, co-creator of the Flash, Hawkman, the Justice Society and the multiverse itself for DC Comics. Alongside the comics he poured out pulp science fiction, sword-and-sorcery and historical adventure under a small library of pseudonyms. Sheer productive imagination on an industrial scale.
