George Henry Weiss

George Henry Weiss (1898–1946) published science fiction and weird fiction in the late-1920s and 1930s pulps under the name ‘Francis Flagg’, ‘The Machine Man of Ardathia’ and other stories in Amazing and Weird Tales. A committed socialist and poet, he brought a slightly more literary and reflective sensibility to the early magazines than most of his contemporaries.
