‘Roy Rockwood’ was another Stratemeyer Syndicate house pseudonym, written by various ghostwriters. It appeared most notably on the ‘Great Marvel’ series, early boy-inventor and interplanetary adventures such as Through Space to Mars and Lost on the Moon, as well as other juvenile series. Like the Syndicate’s other bylines, it names a production line of children’s adventure fiction rather than a single author.
