John Murray Reynolds (1901–1993) was a Princeton-trained shipping executive and WWII naval-intelligence officer (he played a part in the Normandy planning) who wrote some 150 pulp stories on the side. He penned the first ‘Ki-Gor’ jungle-hero novel and colourful science fiction for Planet Stories, The Golden Amazons of Venus among them. A characteristic double-life pulpster of the adventure magazines.
