Frank M. Robinson (1926–2014) began in the 1950s SF magazines, ‘The Maze’, the telepathy novel The Power (filmed by George Pal), and went on to co-write techno-thrillers including The Glass Inferno, a source for the film The Towering Inferno. Later in life he was an openly gay activist, a speechwriter for Harvey Milk, and a celebrated collector and historian of the pulp magazines.
