Walter J. Sheldon (1917–1996) wrote across science fiction and crime fiction from the pulp years onward, publishing under his own name and pseudonyms such as ‘Seldon Walters’. A steady mid-century professional, his SF appeared in the magazines before he moved, like many of his generation, into paperback originals.
