Laurence Housman

Laurence Housman (1865–1959), brother of the poet A. E. Housman, was a versatile writer, illustrator and dramatist whose intricately imagined fairy tales, collected in A Farm in Fairyland, The Field of Clover and All-Fellows, are prized for their beauty and moral subtlety. A notable figure of the fin-de-siècle fairy-tale revival, and later a well-known pacifist and social reformer.
