Katharine Pyle

Katharine Pyle (1863–1938), younger sister of Howard Pyle, was a talented author and illustrator in her own right, producing many volumes of retold fairy tales, fables and folklore from around the world for young readers. Her graceful illustrations and tellings are a notable part of the golden age of American children’s books.
