Heinrich Zschokke

Heinrich Zschokke (1771–1848) was a prolific and popular German-Swiss writer whose enormous output of tales and novels included fantastic and speculative pieces alongside his realistic and moral fiction. A characteristic and widely-read man of letters of the German Romantic and Biedermeier era.
