See? by Edward G. Robles
Remember that Phil Harris song about a thing so repulsive you couldn't get rid of it, no matter what? Never thought I'd see one, but Dirty Pete found it. Don't rush me; I'll tell you about it.
Edward G. Robles's 1957 story is a wry psi-powers and social-SF tale told in the voice of a philosophical hobo. Fun, folksy golden-age SF. Read it for a genial tall-tale of the road, where a couple of tramps stumble onto something strange and wonderful that no one else can quite see.
